Hi Peter,
Just wanted to let you know that I am so glad I bought one of your PH Liberty saddles. As I don’t get much time to ride, my horse only gets the occasional ride during winter, this used to be a problem as he was very humpy to start with in the old saddle, now it makes no difference if he has a day or a month or more off in between rides he does not hump up any more. The saddle also gives me such a secure seat that I am a lot more confident to ask more of my horse. Again, thank you very much for such a beautiful saddle.

Peter fitted a saddle for my young horse at the Tas champs, we have been riding in it for the last few weeks, he is a different horse, he always showed potential but he is now so loose and free over the back, he feels amazing. It was also good to see the program on a country hour, which my husband watches religeously, I did have some moments of guilt given the cost, but my accountant tells me it can go under Kevins 50% as can my stud fees for the racehorses!! how good is that and I didn't vote for him. All jokes aside as a coach, rider etc I wish I could put all my horses in a peter horobin saddle, see what happens down the track!At the end of the day I don;t feel I need to have him checked every 5 minutes which will be a huge saving.

Well it has been just over 10 days since I started riding in my beautiful new saddle and I am really glad to let you know that I am absolutely thrilled with it and so is Calypso and his back.
During the week my instructor asked if she could have a ride in the saddle and after a while she commented to me that I had done the best possible thing for my horse and that my decision and conviction to have a custom made’ Peter Horobin PH Liberty Saddle’ was definitely the right path to take. I was so happy to see your stall at the Equitana. As I live in North Queensland (Mackay) I was having trouble finding someone with a P. H. Saddle plenty of pony ones around but no Amazone’s and I didn’t even know about the Liberty. It was great to be able to sit in these beautiful saddles, but I was starting to think oh my god I couldn’t afford one of these especially when I don’t really do much competing these days I’ll just have to stay at home in my swing fender with its English leathers but then Peter produced a second hand saddle for me to try just for a fit. I was lucky to come along at just the right time that this saddle just traded in which I thought would suit my price range. After speaking with Peter by phone with the price on the saddle I am very happy. Can’t wait to do the saddle fit thing with the cast when it comes, of my horses back I dearly hope it all works out.

Just a quick email to let you know my saddle arrived safely yesterday morning (Thursday). I used it that morning. Even though it's a brand new saddle, it feels so comfortable. I like the fact that you sit in it, not on it. I absolutely love it. I'm thrilled with the craftsmanship also, it's a beautiful looking well made saddle. Earlier this year I purchased a Liberty saddle which Peter fitted to my endurance mare.
I am very pleased to say that we have now completed 480 competition kilometres this year, including one 160k ride in May. That ride qualified me for the Tom Quilty Gold Cup in Queensland (Nanango) in September – it will be an awfully long drive but, hopefully, I will come home with a treasured Quilty buckle. I must say, my saddle is now very well broken in and an absolute delight to ride in especially as my mare (Anglesea Summaleas) shows no soreness – even after the 160k ride she was given all “A’s” and “1’s” by the vet!

Yes we have 5 Horobin saddles! 2 x Classic Dressage (very under rated), 2 x Royals, 1 Close Contact Dressage and we started with a tiny PH Pony!
Thrilled with every single one of them. The Royals are the most comfortable seat we ride in, we just love them sooooo much.

A quick note of sincere thanks for your assistance on the Friday and Saturday of the CDI.
After chatting to Julie on Friday, we organised for me to come with my liberty saddle and my horse early Saturday morning for Peter to assist me.
I am so pleased that I did!!!. Thanks Peter for spending 'the time' with me and thanks to Julie 'for the organising'. I rode in my saddle on Sunday and am now in love with it again.

I took delivery of my PH Liberty in August last year. Unfortunately my horse was injured and has had nine months off so I haven’t been able to use my PH Liberty until now. My horse has just come back into work and is doing well.
I am incredibly impressed with my new saddle. I’ve had three rides in it and it feels wonderful. My legs are still for the very first time and I can sit in exactly the right position. It is supremely comfortable and I feel really secure which is very important when you have a 17.1 hand horse and have had a hip replacement.
My horse is saying thank you too. He is usually quite cold backed but with the Liberty he does not exhibit any signs of discomfort at all.
The PH Liberty is far and away the best saddle I have ever owned.

I have been meaning to email you and the staff at Peter Horobin Saddlery the past few weeks to thank you so much for my new saddle and for express posting the numnah. The difference the saddle has made to my pony is nothing short of amazing. The head throwing, rearing and rushing forward have completely ceased and she is calm, happy and enjoying being ridden, not to mention how much I am enjoying riding her! All of her back problems, windgalls and even a splint have now disappeared and my beautiful little pony who was always such a sweetheart to do anything with on the ground is now the same when she is being ridden. After 12 months of struggling with the various problems that arose (obviously all caused from having the wrong saddle) I just now wish that I had of approached Peter earlier. I received my brand new PH Liberty saddle recently and would like to thank you and your staff for the professional service, workmanship and prompt delivery of my saddle. I am very pleased and happy with my new saddle. It’s a perfect fit on my horse, and he is a very difficult horse to saddle fit due to his high wither a low croup. He seems very comfortable and happy to work in the saddle. The workmanship, materials and saddle design and is of the highest quality. I like the thought behind the design including the shoulder cut out to reduce interference with the horses shoulder, the ability to attach the stirrups onto of or under the upper saddle flap and the ability to hold the flap down with the girth. The seat is very comfortable as well.
My coach, Linda Treur, is very impressed with my PH Liberty. She was impressed with how well the saddle fit the horse, the cut away shoulder design and quality of the saddle workmanship.
And the saddle is so comfortable to ride in. My legs are placed in the correct position and don’t move. I am placed in a very balanced and correct position.
