Peter Horobin Saddlery is always about creating the best quality saddles, accessories and luxury leather goods that bring together tradition and innovation.
Each saddle we make is hand crafted and NOT mass produced and with two generations working side by side along with our fantastic staff, our promise is that we will always take a personal interest in every customer.
Peter: Master Saddler
As the Master Saddler, Peter is responsible for the new designs, innovation of creating masterpieces that will allow your horse to feel more comfortable under the saddle, he also completes the saddle fittings with his son Rhys by his side, speaks to customers and overall spends a lot of time in the workshop along with his excellent staff paying attention to each saddle, to make sure that from start to finish we give the customer the service we promise them.
Julie: Business Manager
Julie’s role includes marketing, sales and keeping everything together! Julie and Peter started Peter Horobin Saddlery 25 years ago and are still working hard together to this day. Julie attends trade shows with Peter, deals in customer service and is behind a lot of the powering marketing ideas PHS has to offer.
Rhys: Apprentice Saddler
Carrying on the tradition Rhys is apprentice to Peter and will be the 2nd generation Saddler in one of Australia’s Leading Saddle Manufacturing Business. His handiwork is above excellent taking the best care and personal touch to each customer order that comes through our workshop. He is also Peter’s assistant in saddle fitting and travels to Trade Shows with Peter and Julie on a regular basis.
Marlee: Marlee May
As well as helping out with customer service, and behind the scenes, marketing plans and sales. As the owner & designer of Marlee May, Marlee has taken all that she has learnt as a part of PHS and developed a range of luxury leather goods. These ranges of products reflect the expertise of traditional leather work and bring it to a new level.
marlee may is available from our exclusive show room in Mornington as well as selected stores in Melbourne and Sydney.
