Flair Air Panel

Air flocking for saddles Ride on Air...... Ride with Flair Air Flocking for Saddles Saddlery for the 21st Century.

Flair is like no other saddle product on the market. It is revolutionary.

Flair is Air Flocking. Yes, the panels of your saddle are filled with air!

Flair is a system of air bags designed to replace the flocking in all conventional saddles, new or second-hand, to provide a soft, flexible and even bearing surface without pressure points.

Fitting air bags does not require any modification to the saddle, its appearance will not change. Once fitted, flair air bags do not need adjustment or special maintenance unless your horse changes shape. Then simple adjustment by your saddler is all that is required. Some horses develop “top line” muscle rapidly with the flair system and have outgrown their tree size.

Flair gives your saddle a constant flexible layer of shock absorbing air ass thick as your saddle’s panel.

Flair increases the sensitivity to aides from your lower back and seat. By removing any saddle discomfort the horse can clearly focus on your aids.

Flair Balance

The position of the rider is crucial to the horses way of going but the riders position is totally influenced by the balance of the saddle. An unbalanced saddle can make it difficult for the rider to sit correctly. Legs not on the horse or swinging, hunched or leaning back and discomfort in the lower back are all signs of a saddle being unbalanced.

Using Flair the saddle can be infinitely adjusted so it can support the rider in the correct position whilst at the same time adapt and mould to the horses shape.

By measuring the height of the cantle from the horses back it’s been proved that a difference of 6mm (1/4 “) up or down from the saddle’s correct position can make the rider feel tipped forwards or backwards with the resulting effect on their leg position.

In particular, the dressage rider requires a perfectly balanced saddle, so such a minor adjustment can make all the difference to both the horse and riders performance.

Don’t take our word for it, listen to the converted.

There is nothing softer than Flair.

“For myself, the greatest advantage of the Flair system is that I am able to use the saddle on various horses with the knowledge that the saddle will mould to their differing backs without discomfort, unlike my conventional saddles. The nice thing is the saddles do not look or feel different to ride.”

“Dear Flair, I thought you would like the photo from Cirencester. Peoples comments on Moonie...What have you done to that horse?..What have you changed? Etc. Etc.
After winning the 60 mile race ride at Cirencester we won Best Condition, all down to Flair!”

“My horses have benefited from the consistent advantage over other competition horses thanks to the Flair system.”
