THE PH LIBERTY; flexible and adjustable
‘Flexible’ or ‘Flex’ refers to the saddle tree. The PH Liberty has a ‘flexible’ tree which is composed of a composite material that is not rigid, allowing the saddle to ‘flex’ with the lateral movement of the horse.
‘Adjustable’ refers to the adjustability of the gullet plate. There are 2 different types of adjustable saddles available on the market. One system has an interchangeable set of plates which the rider inserts to change the angle of the gullet plate.
The most versatile adjustable saddle will allow both the WIDTH and the ANGLE of the gullet plate to be adjusted to fit the horse. These benefits, which are found in the Peter Horobin Liberty, AdapTree® include:
• Full adjustability to fit as the horse grows and develops
• flexing with the lateral movement of the horse to improve connection and communication
• large weight bearing panels for support and to allow freedom of movement
• wide channel for spinal clearance promoting equine back health
